No vemos lo mismo, mi Amor / Seeing something different, my Love

July 26, 2023 by BHW

[Este poema vino primero en español / This poem came first in Spanish – scroll to the end to read it in English]

Seeing something different, my Love

In the few days that remained before we parted,

each toward our own path, you and your love

of angles, glass, the structure of form and function,

me in love with the architecture of love,

with reflected images that would serve to remember

our end, within a life full of endings, one focused

on something that can’t contain you, the other

continuing to watch their love.
